Tina Hannon, Encaustic Artist

“I am a late-blooming emerging artist, self-taught, having left the world of law and words for the world of infinite possibilities and beauty.
“I have a deep respect and affection for process, finding joy in solving puzzles and peace in wholly immersing in the making something that pleases me.
“Nature teaches me color theory and the importance of edges and boundaries.
“The ancient medium of encaustic continues to captivate me as its application seems to be endless!
“My work includes encaustic painting, encaustic monotype, mixed media encaustic, assemblage, collage, and photography.”
