Sandy Watkins is a stained glass artist whose creative journey is deeply rooted in personal healing and rediscovery.

She first experimented with stained glass in high school, but life led her toward other passions, including years devoted to being a veterinarian. After an injury in early 2023, Sandy sought an outlet for her emotions and found herself drawn back to the comfort of creating with her hands.

A stained-glass class in March of 2023 opened a door for and from that moment she began teaching herself the craft with unwavering dedication. As she practiced, Sandy revisited the sketchbooks she had filled throughout her childhood, transforming her own drawings into luminous works of glass that carried her story forward.

Her renewed interest was sparked even further after attending a fused-glass class with a friend, a moment that reignited her passion.

Today, Sandy pours her resilience, emotion, and joy into every piece, using stained glass as both a creative language and a source of healing.
