Lori‘s interest in woodworking stems in large part from the admiration she had for the artistic wood crafts of her eldest brother. A chance visit to a local woodworking retailer lead to enrollment in a short course offered in the making of simple river boards.

The experience was pivotal and seven years later Lori has honed her skills to the present offerings. Her focus has evolved primarily to the creation of live edge projects. Mantels, bars, coffee, tables, shelving, console tables, end tables, cutting boards, and so much more.

Nevertheless, she has never forgotten the first exposure to river boards, and the working of epoxy resin as an accent medium. She has developed significant skill in the use of colored epoxy, adding a depth of beauty to so many of her creations.

Lori’s creativity and willingness to meet her customers needs has seen her works in homes and business, not only in the Golden State, but in Pennsylvania, Florida, Kansas, New Mexico and other corners of our great country.

But Home is where the heart is and she is very excited to be a part of the Auburn community of artisans at Persimmon Gallery.

A resident of Placer County for almost 5 decades Lori enjoys foothill life with her husband, two children, four grandchildren, and two very spoiled poodles ( Charlie & Lucy).
